Kayla's Summer

Kayla was the perfect age for the summer time. She started crawling in August. In September she pulled herself up to standing. In October she is starting to push things around while walking behind them. Wow, she is such an active girl. She is always smiling. She loves to play and wishes so bad that she could run around with her brother and sister. She is babbling and likes to make herself heard. Kayla is our little bundle of joy.

Elisa's Summer

Elie is so hilarious! She had tons of fun this summer too, but unfortunately she hates having her picture taken. If she is smiling in any of these pictures, then we must have caught her on accident. Her usual response to a camera is turning her back or running in the opposite direction. She enjoys everything princess. She likes to sing the part from Little Mermaid when the sea witch is taking away Ariel's voice and she also sings"Once upon a dream" from Sleeping Beauty. She is learning alot, she recognizes almost all the letters of the alphabet, and she also knows all her colors and shapes. She loves books and puzzles at the moment. She even sleeps with flash cards LOL.

Tyler's Summer

One of the many blessings that Jose's job affords is free summer day camp for Tyler. And one of the blessings about my job is self scheduling. So I planned my work days for his fun days and kept him home for fun with his mom and sisters on the non-fun days of summer day camp. Now that school is back in session I regretfully realize that I made the mistake of all fun and no learning review. Jose warned me about that, and now we have lots of catch up to do. Please pray for us :)

Hello everyone. After reflecting on what I liked the most about keeping in touch through cyberspace, I realized that my most enjoyable times had been looking at pictures of my family and friends who I'm not able to talk to very often. It is neat to still feel connected even though we don't get to speak or see each other very often. So this is my attempt to make you all feel like a part of what is going on over here with the Ortiz Family. This picture was taken at Kayla's Dedication at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa on August 30, 2009.
